Today while getting Alyssa ready for a play date with her 2 year old pal Brynley I was telling her how she Brynley was going to teach her to play like a big girl and maybe how to walk like a big girl. And that's precisely what happened! Apparently watching Brynley run and jump was motivation enough to get our little speed crawler up on those tiny legs!
Luckily Christina was there to log it so that daddy could see her first steps! We promptly sent daddy an email and gave him a call thinking he'd be running over to watch it for himself but instead his response was, "push her over!" Poor daddy...
Alyssa is now a walking fool and daddy has seen in for himself so yay for new tricks and yay for walking just in time for her poor knees to be in shorts! ;)
